What We Offer

At Little Robot Friends, we aim to:

• build confidence in digital and motor skills
• help our campers understand what is possible with all the amazing technology around us
• inspire them to become compassionate creators of the future!

This year's PA day camp themes are Space and Galaxies (Nov 17th), which will be an epic space saga filled with block-based coding and online game-making, and Create with Cubbybot (Dec 8th), which will be a Christmas-themed electronics adventure exploring the possibilities of our resident Cubby Robot kit!

Some of our previous years' camp projects include:

• Coding video games and designing digital characters with Scratch
• Design your own stamp using 3D design and 3D printing technology
• Robo-Citizens: make and design a Paperbot with LED light-up eyes

Camp spots are secured with your purchase. We will follow-up with a registration form, with the same email you purchased with!

Key details

• Camp Hours: 9AM - 4PM
• For ages 7-11, with lots of flexibility for kids at different skill levels 
• Late pick-ups will be charged $10 for the first hour (4-5pm), then $5 for every 15 minutes afterwards (up to 6pm)

• Outdoor playtime at East Lynn park before or after lunch 
• Indoor time: coding, electronics, and/or arts and crafts
• Computers will be provided (but you can bring your own if you want!)

What is a typical camp day like?

We like to make sure the students are moving their bodies and not just sitting all day, so we break up the day with lots of little activities. Here is an example schedule for what a day of camp can look like:

• 9 - 9:15 am - Welcome
• 9:15 - 9:30 am - Warm-up activity (indoor)
• 9:30 - 11:30 am - Coding/design, lesson and discussion
• 11:30 - 1:00 pm - Lunch & Outdoor time 
• 1:00 - 2:30 pm - Crafting/making and games
• 2:30 - 3:00 pm - Afternoon activity (indoor or outdoor)
• 3:00 - 4:00 pm - Free time! Games, puzzles, music, etc. 

We are only opening up a limited number of spots, so reserve your spot early!

Refund Rules

Nov 17th Camp (Space and Galaxies):

• Notice between Nov 1st - 5th: 100% refund
• Notice between Nov 6th - 10th: 50% refund / 50% credit
• Less than 1 week notice (after Nov 10th): 100% credit

Dec 8th Camp (Create with Cubbybot):

• Greater than 3 weeks’ notice (before or on Nov 17th) : 100% refund
• 1-2 weeks' notice (between Nov 18th - Dec 1st): 50% refund / 50% credit
• Less than 1 week notice (after Dec 1st): 100% credit
