Return to the Cubbyverse!
The Cubbyverse is calling! Its heroes are needed once again. Embark on a week of storytelling and discovery with our little robot friend, Cubby! Throughout the week, campers will be working towards creating their own short films featuring Cubby as the main protagonist. Campers will begin by learning about Cubby using code and interactive technologies. As we explore Cubby’s abilities, we’ll begin to write the movie for Cubby to star in. What will Cubby do? Where will Cubby go? Only your imagination knows! Work solo or in groups to tell the story of Cubby across the many universes. Filming will take place near the end of the week, including opportunities to learn how to edit the movies if time allows.
This camp will focus on creativity and storytelling, weaving in elements of code, technology, 3D design, and digital content development. The videos for each participant will be available to families after the conclusion of the camp. They will not be posted for public viewing. We will provide private links to download video files. Videos are made with the intention of featuring the things and characters that campers make, and not the campers themselves.
