Whether it's a birthday, special occasion, or milestone, you can make it extra special with some maker magic. Just bring yourself, your friends, and some yummy treats - we'll take care of the rest.*
What's Included
- 3 hours in our classroom space, dedicated to your party! Broken down as follows:
- 1.5 to 2 hour workshop activity, where we will embark on an epic exploration of coding and game design, electronics and crafting, or 3D design and printing - see below for our workshop options!
- 1 hour for presents, food, or additional activities! (food, presents, and side activities are the responsibility of parents or caregivers)

This does not reflect a specific schedule that must be adhered to. We are flexible and can jump between workshop activity, snack or lunch times, and whatever else the day brings!
After the party, guests will be able to take their finished projects home, with a guide on how to explore the new technologies learned on their own time.

- Based on your answers in our Google form, you will be billed for any extra half-hour/guest charges in a separate invoice.
Themes!
Coding and Game Design
Party-goers will learn coding basics by creating their own game on Scratch, a free, beginner-friendly blocks-style coding platform. We'll start off the workshop with some quick info on computer basics and core Scratch-skills, and then spend the rest of the time creating our video game!
Electronics and Crafting
Party-goers will learn simple electronics and get to flex their crafting skills by making their very own light-up Paperbot! We'll start off the workshop by introducing our Paperbot and learning a couple of things about circuits and electronics. Then we'll work on creating our very own, leaving plenty of time for customizing our character with colour, costumes, and more!
3D Design and Printing
Party-goers will learn how to express their creativity through TinkerCAD, a free, beginner-friendly 3D design software. In the first half of the workshop, we'll walk through the ins and outs of the software, and in the second half we'll get to building!
* Please note: unless confirmed beforehand, hosts will need to stay for the duration of the party. Our facilitators will manage the delivery of the activity, however, for the enjoyment of current and future guests we request the assistance of the hosts to help ensure the space is kept safe and tidy. An extra cleaning fee may be charged for excessive mess.
